Designed for an active lifestyle in warm to cool weather, the Womens Patagonia Merino Wool 2 Crew is a versatile merino layer made from 73% merino wool wrapped around a 27% all-recycled polyester core for a luxurious hand. Inherently soft and comfortable, merino naturally resists odor, moves moisture away from the skin, regulates body temperature, and stretches. Wide cuff bands hold sleeves where you want them. Side and arm seams are positioned to not interfere with pack straps. All seams are overlocked for a clean aesthetic. Patagonia slow-wash their merino for next-to-skin softness. Machine-wash cold; lay flat to dry. At the end of it's useful life, recycle through the Patagonia Common Threads Recycling Program.

Material
Chlorine-Free Wool
Raw, untreated wool has scales that make it itchy and coarse and cause it to shrink, so most wool fabrics are treated with chlorine to reduce the scales. Our 100% merino wool is so fine it can be slow-washed without chlorine for softness and minimal shrinkage.

We recycle used soda bottles, unusable second quality fabrics and worn out garments into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.
