This lightweight zip-neck features 73% merino wool wrapped around a 27% all-recycled polyester core for a luxurious hand. Inherently soft and comfortable, merino naturally resists odor, moves moisture away from the skin, regulates body temperature, and stretches. The doubled collar and a zipper covered at both ends are skin-friendly. Raglan sleeves and offset side seams stay smooth beneath pack straps. Patagonia slow-wash their merino for next-to-skin softness. Machine-wash cold; lay flat to dry. Recyclable through the Patagonia Common Threads Recycling Program.

Chlorine-Free Wool
Raw, untreated wool has scales that make it itchy and coarse and cause it to shrink, so most wool fabrics are treated with chlorine to reduce the scales. Patagonia's 100% merino wool is so fine it can be slow-washed without chlorine for softness and minimal shrinkage.
