Surprisingly fun Review by Mark
I have been looking at VFF's for a while and when i saw that these i decided to take the plunge. The fit is secure and comfortable and running in them is a lot of fun. The feel on the ground isn't quite barefoot but you are certainly forced to run correctly. The grip on the road and wet grass is equal to road shoes so as footpaths become wetter they might get a little slippy but for steady runs this is fine. I am up to 50 minutes running in them and haven't felt any chaffing or rubbing, the only issue is getting long grass and leaves stuck inbetween the toes.
I also run in inov-8 295's and have found the transition from them to the VFF fairly easy. I haven't had any of the tired calf syndrome that others have talked about but my feet have definiatly felt the change in support the following morning. However, they have adapted quickly and the result is a lot more speed in my inov-8. As the winter draws in i think i will do my steady runs in the VFF and speed work in the inov-8's (Posted on 02/09/2010)
