Made to a pattern taken directly directly from Yarmouth Oilskins archive this updated recreation uses a modern lightweight wax not available when it was originally created but perfectly suited. Advantages of the modern fabric are that it’s hand washable with a wonderful soft tumbled finish and a gently aged appearance. The patina will develop over time and just get better and better. The Hooded Smock is unlined, with an internal draw cord, and a sturdy brass zip. It has generous deep welt pockets with a buttoned storm flap, and a three piece hood .
